Nick Augusto (born August 4, 1986) is an American drummer best known for his tenure with Trivium from 2009 to 2014. Before joining Trivium, he was the drummer for the grindcore band Maruta and played in Metal Militia alongside future Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto. Augusto initially joined Trivium as their drum technician before stepping in as a fill-in drummer after Travis Smith went on hiatus. His powerful, speedy drumming style contributed to two studio albums: "In Waves" (2011) and "Vengeance Falls" (2013). Known for his aggressive playing and technical proficiency, Augusto brought a fresh energy to Trivium's live performances. After parting ways with Trivium, he formed the band Corrosion and has continued touring with bands like Light the Torch.
