Raymond Herrera is an American drummer best known as the founding member and former drummer of industrial metal band Fear Factory. His innovative "stop-go" double bass technique, rather than the traditional sustained blast approach, became a signature element of Fear Factory's mechanical, precise sound. He played on iconic albums like Soul of a New Machine (1992), Demanufacture (1995), and Obsolete (1998). Beyond drumming, Herrera has composed music for numerous video games including Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and Scarface: The World Is Yours. He also drummed for Brujeria and later formed Arkaea.
